Hi, I'm Fariza and I’m an expat living in Germany for over 4 years now and working as a software engineer.

I truly believe that financial education is one of the most important topics, especially in Germany. But it can be quite complex and overwhelming at first.

Hello, my name is Ashwini Sarode, and I work as a Software Developer in Germany. I have been living here for almost five years now, and during this time I have gained valuable experience about what it takes to start a new life in Germany.

For anyone moving here, the journey involves navigating numerous bureaucratic processes while also going through an emotional adjustment phase. I remember when I first arrived—I had countless questions, yet struggled to find clear answers.

That is what inspired me to start The Deutschland Diaries: a space where I share my experiences and insights to help students and expats who are beginning their journey in Germany and are seeking guidance.
